When you applied to UConn, you received and activated your NetID. Your NetID is your unique network identifier and is comprised of 3 lower-case letters and 5 numbers. Your NetID remains the same throughout your career at UConn.
Now that you are going to be a UConn student, you will be able to access electronic resources on campus, such as the Student Administration System, your UConn email account, HuskyCT online course tools, and technology resources in the residence halls with your NetID.
You can manage your NetID and NetID password at netid.uconn.edu, including:
- Finding your NetID
- Setting password recovery options so that you can reset your password if you forget it.
- Changing your password, especially important if your fear that your password was compromised (e.g., you accidentally entered your NetID credentials in response to a phishing scam).
For assistance, contact the Technology Support Center. Any University account password is the property of the account owner and cannot be released to parents and/or third parties.
