Housing

UConn has one of the highest percentages of students living on campus of any public university in the United States. The University celebrates its commitment to your residential living experience with an exceptional living community that balances academic study and learning with an abundance of social options.

Students who wish to live on campus must submit a UConn housing application found on the Department of Residential Life site (‘Apply for Housing’ menu item). The housing application steps in order are:

  1. Submit your $300 enrollment deposit (It usually takes up to 3 business days for new students to have access in My Housing after they have successfully paid the enrollment deposit.)
  2. Access the online housing application at http://reslife.uconn.edu once the fee has been processed (processing will take 3-5 business days)
  3. Submit the application on line; login requires using your NetID and password
